These therapies work together to tackle various aspects of equine health, from muscle relaxation and injury recovery to enhanced flexibility and pain relief.
I have been around horses since I was 10 and started riding and taking lessons and horse showing in the Hunter Jumper world. I also rode for my high school equestrian team which really helped me learn more in depth about the mechanics of the equine body. After that I grew tired of the political side of the show ring and ring and started riding with a rodeo drill team which sparked my fire for the fast horses, so I started a new venture in barrel racing.
As time went on and the more competitive I got the more I realized how much it really takes to keep my horse in good condition mentally and physically. At that time not a lot of people knew about equine massage and I started researching the topic and began working for a holistic small animal vet that also cared for horses. There I was able to learn more about how each part of the body is connected to one another and the importance of keeping that connection strong. Since I was getting a good grasp on things and still helping animals in a different way, I put my career path on hold.
Fast forward a few years my mare had a pretty significant injury that made me look more into this modality again. When I discovered one of my friends was already a practitioner I stopped researching again in fear of stepping on toes and hurting feelings. Now I have come to the conclusion that this is my calling. It’s a feeling and passion that has never gone away and every time I turn around there is some reminder to look deeper. So after 10 years of working in the clinic, I have decided to venture out on my own.
I specialize in certified equine massage therapy. Each session will include massage therapy. Then based on the horse, I will add light therapy, cold laser, cryotherapy, kinesiology taping, muscles scraping or cupping depending on the horse’s specific needs.

All of the above are modalities to relieve inflammation and open the message pathways throughout the body in different ways. The horse’s body will generally tell me what it needs while I work on them or based on vet and farrier information I create a custom plan.
I am not a vet and am not a replacement for veterinary medicine. I cannot diagnose a horse, but can and will work with the vet and other equine professionals in the best interest of the horse.
My goal is to 100% help the horse feel and perform their best.
I have 3 horses of my own, 2 dogs, a wonderful supportive husband and a beautiful step daughter who has grown her own passion for horses over the past couple of years.
